Well, guess what? Healing truth – it’s not over until THE BODY says it’s over.
The truth is that our body encodes trauma. So when something happens, whether it’s trauma with a big T, an accident abuse, some sort of a major physical thing that happens psychologically or spiritually or small traumas.
Anytime that we got separated from safety, we had something happen emotionally or spiritually or physically that shook us up and created a sort of an alarm or an emergency, even if it was just imagined in our mind. That sort of little T trauma also gets stored in the body and the body will hold onto that until the point in the future where we’re using a Subtle Body- Appropriate Technical to release it in the right way.
So even though you’ve thought about it in your mind and you’ve gotten over it in your mental understanding, that doesn’t actually affect the Subtle Body, which is a mind-body connection type of part of the body to actually release it from the system.
So if the body is still holding onto it, it’s still there. this is why we say it’s not over until the body says it’s over.
The good news is that there are easy-to-learn Subtle Body techniques to actually release these things from the system. You’ll know that you have one of these sneaky low level holding on to the trauma, things going on in the ways that it manifests in your life.
If you’re feeling stuck in life about something totally unrelated stuff in your job or behaviors that you know that you shouldn’t do, but you’re sort of stuck in the pattern. If you have trouble connecting with people in a relationship, if you easily get thrown off or have a lot of anxiety, likely there are some things in your Subtle Body that, even though you’ve mentally processed your body is still holding onto it.
Learning the right Subtle Body techniques to get those out and release them from the system will create so much surprising freedom in your life, in all areas that might seem unconnected.
Allow that awareness without trying to shove it down or judge it or think, “Oh, I’m over that already”.
I encourage you to start to make this mindset to pay attention to what the body brings up and to see how much you can welcome.
